Main Features
AfiMilk MPC offers a range of functions and alerts to support the operator. The meter gathers data that allows the producer to make fundamental decisions about cow management and to maintain good herd health.
Milking Controls
Milking – Designed with the ability to process high milk flows; offers the necessary protection against vacuum fluctuations that cause damage.
Milk Collector Removal – Provides precise and adjustable threshold levels to stop milking when milk flow drops; planned vacuum shutoff to ensure gentle removal of the collector from the udder.
Pulsation – Offers two methods of controlling pulsation. Basic control offers the ability to configure pulsation speed and ratio, and the advanced flow-controlled pulsation method automatically adjusts pulsation according to milk flow. Pulsation stops when the collector is removed, thereby increasing the durability of the milking equipment, pulsators, and liners.
Stimulation – Facilitates stimulation before milking.
Measurements
Milk Flow – accurately measures milk flow performance in accordance with ICAR standards; officially accepted for use in national herd books.
Conductivity – the measurement of milk conductivity is the basis of the unique mastitis detection algorithm incorporated in the AfiMilk system.
Other Measurements – accumulates and analyzes data from collector placement, milk flows, milking curves, and milking time for the evaluation of parlor operation and milking procedures.
