Indications
Dry cow treatment for the prevention of mastitis caused by bacteria.
Ultraseal is indicated for the prevention of intramammary infections throughout the dry period. This results in a reduction in the incidence of subclinical mastitis in cows at calving, and of clinical mastitis in the dry period and post-lactation (at least 60 days after calving).
It is recommended to use the product as part of a dry cow and mastitis control program, so it does not replace the dry cow antibiotic syringe.
Dosage
One intramammary syringe, containing 4 g of product, applied to each quarter of the mammary gland at the time of drying off.
