Intramammary cephalosporin antibiotic, active against Gram + and Gram – pathogens (especially Escherichia coli, coagulase-negative Staphylococcus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, and Klebsiella).
Treatment of clinical mastitis caused by Ceftiofur-sensitive bacteria in lactating cows.
One syringe per affected mammary quarter, every 24 hours, for a minimum of 2 days.
Treatment may be extended up to a maximum of 8 days, if necessary.
None for animals intended for slaughter.
72 hours must elapse after the last application for milk intended for human consumption.
